The privacy policies contained herein only apply to the use and/or registration on www.homeconnector.com. Any interaction with other web sites, third party components (i.e. API’s) or third parties related or unrelated to Home Connector, are not covered by Home Connector’s Privacy Policies.

At any point in time, Home Connector may store it’s information in servers in the United States and outside the United States. By using or registering to use the site, you agree to have your information stored and used on any of our server locations. Please note that Home Connector uses commercially available third party services to provide server and data storage services. To the best of Home Connector’s knowledge, the web server and data storage provider used handles it’s server and data storage services in line with customary and reasonable industry standards pertaining to data security and others. While we believe that our server and data storage provider takes security seriously, it is not possibly to fully guaranty with 100% certainty that data protection, availability, transmission and integrity is always achieved. 1. Collection & Use of Information
Unless you authorize to receive information from third parties, Home Connector does not sell or distribute your information. We collect your Personal Information on the Site in order to enhance the services we offer you. We collect Personal Information from you only when you voluntarily submit it in order to obtain certain services or information, including requests for information which include but are not limited to Request a Showing, Save a Search, Filling Out a Contact Form, Property Information Requests, Foreclosure Lists, Mortgage Information Requests, Applications for Parternships, Applications for Employment and others. This information is used to help our users buy, rent or sell a home as well as to procure ancillary services such as Mortgages.Please note that by filling out the Request for Information Form in the Mortgage Center, you are sending this information to our Mortgage Partner who will contact you to help you obtain the mortgage information you are requesting.

2. Information Users Provide to Home Connector

Information received directly through the website or through other means is stored on our servers. It is completely the user’s choice to provide accurate or inaccurate information to Home Connector. If you choose to provide inaccurate information, you may not be able to use all the services and features available on the site. Home Connector staff or real estate agents directly or indirectly associated with Home Connector may have access to user information if necessary through the normal course of doing business.

3. Use of MyHomeConnector/Registration

Home Connector  provides a service called My Home Connector which allows you to place notations on properties, add favorites, save searches and other features. In order to take advantage of these features, it is necessary for you to complete a registration form. When you fill out the registration form, you are required to enter some personal information such as your name, phone numbers, e-mail address and others. When you enter this information in the system, you are agreeing to have a real estate agent or a staff member working with or in conjunction with Home Connector to assist you with any help you might need.

4. Financial Information

During the process of assisting you find a property, certain financial information maybe  necessary to determine the price range of the property you are searching for. This information may also be used to help you get pre-approved with a mortgage company or lender and it may be necessary for our staff or real estate agents to have access to it.

5. Site Use Information

As many businesses do, Home Connector collects information from users of the site which is not of personal nature which includes, but it is not limited to, IP addresses, operating system, browser type, location and other data. This information may be collected through the use of cookies developed by Home Connector or third parties which help in the gathering and compiling of the information. This information assists Home Connector in customizing the user experience by allowing Home Connector to customize the content and advertising you may see as well as to continuously improve the services that are provided to you.

6. API’s/Third Party Applications
As many other businesses do, Home Connector uses third party applications to provide a host of services to users which may make it easier for the user to interact with Home Connector’s web site. Some of the API’s currently in use, but are not limited to, are Google & Facebook login/registration, Google Maps, Yahoo Maps and others. When you choose to decide to login through Facebook, Google or any other third party authorization service API, you are allowing us to utilize the information that the third party provides to Home Connector. 7. Forums & Posts on the Site

Any information posted on the site will be available for the public to see. We ask that you only post content that is harmless and useful to all users interacting with www.homeconnector.com

8. E-mail Communication

Home Connector uses periodic e-mail communications with users of the site who provide an e-mail address through the registration process or through any other medium used to provide the information to Home Connector. These e-mail communications can range, but are not limited to, customer service inquiries to sales/marketing notifications either sent automatically or by a Home Connector staff member or a real estate agent. If you wish not to receive e-mail communications from Home Connector, please send an e-mail to support@homeconnector.com with the title “Don’t Send E-mails” using the e-mail address for which you do not want to be contacted. Please allow 48 to 72 hours to have your request processed.

9. Refer a Friend Feature
The refer a friend feature requires you to enter some of your personal information as well as your friend. There is also a feature that allows you to share a property through a Facebook API. Please review Facebook’s privacy policy.

10. Use of Cookies

In order to provide you with a better service, Home Connector places a cookie on the device you use to access www.homeconenctor.com to assist us in collecting information pertaining to your interaction with the system. As previously mentioned, this information assists Home Connector in customizing the user experience by allowing Home Connector to customize the content and advertising you may see as well as to continuously improve the services that are provided to you. The software you use to access www.homeconnector.com should allow you to disable the cookie feature. However, if you choose to disable it, you may not be able to take advantage of all the features.

11. Employment/Partnership Information Requests
When you submit employment or partnership information requests, the process may require you to provide personal information. This information maybe distributed to Home Connector’s staff or partner’s in your area in order for them to contact you and discuss your interest in Home Connector.

Home Connector intends the web site www.homeconnector.com to be used by people who are over the age of 13 and to use the site for real estate information. Home Connector does not market nor actively knowingly or unknowingly engage children nor collect information from children.
