My HomeConnector is a tool that is not only designed to help you find what you are looking for by using Home Connector, but it helps you establish a personal relationship with a realtor that specializes in the area that you are looking to buy, sell or rent a home. In order to be able to use My HomeConnector, you need to create an account with us by registering basic information into our system. To make it real easy for you to join, you can join by using your Facebook or Gmail account as well as to creat an account using Home Connector’s registraion form (see image below):
One you register with My HomeConnector, you will be able to see full property details, request showings, add properties to your favorites, ask questions, make notes on properties, print property flyers, save property searches, and much more.
What is Request a Showing?
When you Request a Showing, a local Home Connector real estate professional receives your request and will work with you to schedule the best time for you to see the property you are interested in. When you request a showing, please ensure your contact information is accurate so that you can receive a prompt response to your request.
What is Add to Favorites?
Add to Favorites is a feature that allows you to add properties to your favorites section of your My HomeConnector account so that you can view them at a later point in time.
What is the Ask a Question feature?
The Ask a Question feature allows you to ask your local real estate agent a question pertaining to a specific property. Your local real estate agent will receive the question and provide you with an answer!
What is the Write a Note Feature?
The Write a Note feature allows you to make notations on individual properties so that you can view them at a later point in time. This feature comes in handy when you are just browsing for properties and there is something that interests you about a property that you want to remember for later reference.
What is the Print Flyer feature?
The Print Flyer feature allows you to print a flyer in an image format or on a hard copy so that you can take it with you and view when you go view properties. The flyer includes all the property details, you agent’s information in case you need to make contact and a map so that you can find it easily.
What is Share this Property Feature?
This feature allows you to share properties with people whom you think might have an interest in it. This feature is allows you to either send an e-mail or to share the property via Facebook.
What are the elements that are displayed under Search Results?
When you conduct a property search on Home Connector, you will be taken to a page that displays all the results pertaining to your search. The search results are displayed in a way that makes it easy for you to find not only what you are looking for, but for you to find other tools that maybe of use to you such as:
Expert Advice: It allows you to ask your local Real Estate expert questions regarding your search or any others you may have.
Top Communities in Your Search:
Search Results: This is the list of results as defined by the filters you selected in the Property Search. At the top of the Search results, you have the following features:
Save this Search: This allows you to Save the search to your MyHomeConnector account and any times new properties are available for your search parameters, you will receive a notification via e-mail with the list of those properties.
Edit this Search: This allows you to go back to the search panel and refine or modify your search.
Sort by: The Sort by feature allows you to sort your property results by:
High to Low
Low to High
Newest
Best
Property Preview: This feature allows you to view more details related to one of the properties on the search results without having to leave the page. If you want to see complete details, you need to click on the CLICK HERE button which will take you to a full detail view of the property.
What is the Sell Your Home feature?
The sell your home feature allows you type in the zip code of the area where your house is located. Once you type in your zip code, you will get a summary of all the properties for sale in your neighborhood and allows you the opportunity to contact the local real estate agent in your area who can assist you in selling your home!
The Find a Top Agent Feature allows you to look at the agents’ profile. In the agents’ profile, you will find useful information related to the agent’s experience as well as to the areas the specialize. If you want to contact an agent, you have their contact information at your finger tips!
The City Area Guide, as the name implies, is a quick guide of the city/are you select. In it, you will be able to find properties for sale or for rent and you will be able to conduct detailed searcches for that particular city/area.
The Community Search feature allows you to look at specific developments, such as Condo Buildings, subdivisions, etc., within a city/area. This feature is very handy if you know exactly where you want to live as it allows you to find what properties are available in a quick manner.
